Important Legal Information
This information is intended to provide only an outline of the types of coverages, exclusions, and limitations of the Road Hazard Tire & Wheel Coverage Plan just described and should not be relied upon when purchasing this contract.
The Plan is optional and expires according to the contract term selected. Coverage does not apply to tires with the lowest tread depth measurement of 2/32nds of an inch or less. Coverage is limited to the original set of tires on the vehicle at the time of purchase and new comparable replacement tires. This plan provides for the replacement of wheels when or if the wheel cannot be balanced, will not hold air, or the damage has affected the structural integrity of the wheel.
The maximum lifetime benefit is $5,000 for Deluxe Coverage; $5,000 maximum does not apply to Premium Coverage.
Cosmetic wheel damage is limited to alloy or steel wheels and is limited to factory wheels. Wheel/rim re-manufacturing or replacement available only if the damage is too severe and, if upon inspection, the structural integrity of the wheel/rim has been jeopardized.
Any tire and/or wheel failure caused by accidents, theft, vandalism, misuse, negligence, wear and tear are not covered.
The Coverages described are not insurance policies. The purchase of any Plan is optional, cancelable, transferable to another owner but not to another vehicle and is not required in order to lease or obtain financing.
The product being offered is a service contract and is separate and distinct from any product or service warranty which may be provided by the manufacturer, importer, or seller.

2. When repairs are required, return your vehicle to the selling dealer, if possible. If you cannot return your vehicle to the selling dealer, you must call 1-800-327-5172 during normal working hours. Prior authorization is required prior to having the vehicle repaired.
3. Roadside Assistance will be reimbursed up to $50 per occurrence, for towing and/or roadside assistance expenses incurred from a towing or licensed repair facility, in connection with a covered tire and/or wheel.
4. Contract transferable to another owner, but not to another vehicle. Additionally, the contract may not be transferred to any entity in the business of selling or leasing motor vehicles.
